Focusing on the student experience, we examined the psychosocial impacts of COVID on people with disabilities.

Our study:  COVID-19 Related Experiences Among College Students With and Without Disabilities: Psychosocial Impacts, Supports, and Virtual Learning Environments.

We've found that students with disabilities experienced more psychosocial stressors compared to students without disabilities. Disabled students were more than twice as likely to experience worry about medical bills, loneliness, and increased anxiety due to the pandemic. They were also more than three times as likely to report increased depression.

On a positive note, students with disabilities also received more support than their non-disabled classmates! Disabled students were also more likely to feel a sense of contributing to society by following COVID-19  precautions.
